In most circumstances, because Franklin Coatings can install more fluid applied membrane in a shorter period of time then other "conventional" water proofing material, we can get the job done in a more efficient manner. The fluid applied rubber that Franklin Coatings uses is non-toxic. There are no Volatile Organic Chemicals present thus providing a safer environment for our employees, other trades on the jobsite and to the environment.

No FLAME

Franklin Coatings uses "COLD APPLIED" liquid rubber in our water proofing membrane projects. This means that there is zero risk of fire in any of our projects. Safety is a key issue for every project, and Franklin is serious about their commitment.

Monolithic

Fluid applied membranes allow Franklin Coatings to create a water proofing system that has no seems. Traditional water proofing systems are plagued by seem problems as the roof ages. A majority of failures occur around vents/ HVAC systems and other protrusions. This is do to the "layering" and "over-lapping" of the material around these sensitive areas. With our SmartSeal fluid applied rubber system, we reduce the chance for any failure.
