STEPS TO A NEW ROOF

(1) VACUUMING AND REMOVAL OF DEBRIS

Franklin Coatings has its own Hurricane 600 roofing vacuum. This allows us to suck up virtually any sized rock, saw dust, or other debris off of your roof and dump it in a controlled manner in a waste bin.

(2) Clean off Roofing Surface

After the rock and debris removal, we clean off any remaining dirt that is embedded with pressure washing and further vacuuming.

(3) Detail Work

After the Surface is ready to receive our products, we use reinforced fabric, rubberized mastic and caulking to seal all the trouble spots and detail areas on the roof. Any roof top units, protrusions such as vents as well as the perimeter are thoroughly sealed before commencing the spraying of the roofing field.

(4) Spray Rubber Coating

Once all the detail is completed, we coat the roof in liquid rubber at a job-specific milage and allow the rubber to solidify and become monolithic (seamless). The roof is now completed.

(5) White Reflective Top Coat

We at Franklin Coatings offer an optional white top coat for your roof. Because of its reflective white colour, less heat is absorbed by your building, thus contributing to lower energy cost.
